Each 2-Day training seminar offers 16 hours of legal-based training to further professional growth and confidence on the following important supervisory topics:  \nSUPERVISORY ROLES – Supervise & Train \n\nResponsibilities\, Duties\, and Interaction with Line Staff\, Command Staff\nStaff Discipline (confronting negative staff behavior)\n\nDOCUMENTATION \n\nReport Writing\nCritical Incidents\n\nAUDITING YOUR POLICIES (AARMS) \n\nAre Your Policies Legal-Based?\n\nPROHIBITED HARASSMENT \n\nUsing Legal-Based Jail Guidelines (LBJG) to Develop Legal-Based Policies\n\nINMATE MENTAL HEALTH \n\nRecognizing\, Responding\, and Coordination of Care\n\nSUICIDE PREVENTION AND RESPONSE \n\nJail Suicides – Liability and Loss Prevention\nInmate Suicide – Prevention and Response\n\nTo enhance consistency\, the curriculum adheres to the same NIJO principles taught in DACOTA (the Detention and Corrections Online Training Academy) and the Arizona Legal-Based Jail Guidelines (AZ-LBJG)\, currently being used in several jails throughout the state. \n** This training is approved for all levels of NIJO National Certification (NCCO\, NCCS and NCCE). \nDownload printable flyer here. \n  \n \n  \nCANCELLATION POLICY \nACIP is generously covering all ​training and registration costs for this valuable training and space is limited.  Therefore\, if attendees reserve a training spot\, but do not attend\, it prohibits someone else from attending that might have been able to attend if space was available.  As a professional courtesy\, please notify NIJO of any cancellations in writing (email: khoskins@jailtraining.org) no less than 2 weeks before the start of the training.  If you don’t attend the training\, your agency will be billed $100/person for “NO SHOWS”.
