South Dakota Corrections Supervision Training Day
Join the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office and the National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO) for a full day of legal-based leadership training designed specifically for corrections supervisors in South Dakota. This intensive 8-hour program will cover constitutional responsibilities, deliberate indifference, grievance management, use of force, staff discipline, and leadership strategies that help supervisors reduce liability, strengthen operations, and lead with confidence. Taught by NIJO Executive Director Tate McCotter and Policy & Operations Manager Rob Yantis, this no-cost training provides practical guidance that supervisors can immediately apply in their facilities.
