ACIP, in partnership with the National Institute for Jail Operations (NIJO), is proud to offer two training sessions** targeted specifically for those serving in supervisory roles in Arizona jails. Each 2-Day training seminar offers 16 hours of legal-based training to further professional growth and confidence on the following important supervisory topics:
SUPERVISORY ROLES – Supervise & Train
DOCUMENTATION
AUDITING YOUR POLICIES (AARMS)
PROHIBITED HARASSMENT
INMATE MENTAL HEALTH
SUICIDE PREVENTION AND RESPONSE
To enhance consistency, the curriculum adheres to the same NIJO principles taught in DACOTA (the Detention and Corrections Online Training Academy) and the Arizona Legal-Based Jail Guidelines (AZ-LBJG), currently being used in several jails throughout the state.
** This training is approved for all levels of NIJO National Certification (NCCO, NCCS and NCCE).

CANCELLATION POLICY
ACIP is generously covering all training and registration costs for this valuable training and space is limited. Therefore, if attendees reserve a training spot, but do not attend, it prohibits someone else from attending that might have been able to attend if space was available. As a professional courtesy, please notify NIJO of any cancellations in writing (email: khoskins@jailtraining.org) no less than 2 weeks before the start of the training. If you don’t attend the training, your agency will be billed $100/person for “NO SHOWS”.
